Shield rings are stunning and I admire them always. I rarely source them, just out of rarely finding one that wow's me. This one was quirky enough that I had to have it. The bi-color sapphire center and the elongated baguette design really is striking. The center sapphire stone is natural and the skinny, elongated sapphires are likely synthetic, which is synonymous with the era. This one is my favorite one I've seen in the mid-range.
