Antique French Rose Cut Diamond & Garnet Bar Brooch Bracelet Conversion

Ok, this particular brooch conversion project really had me fighting with myself. On one hand, I wanted to breathe in new life to this brooch that wasn't being used, but on the other, I really wanted to preserve the piece being that I discovered its origins were French (eagle hallmark). After some thought and chats with my jeweler, we came up with a plan to preserve the eagle hallmark that was placed on the pin of the brooch and laser solder it to the back of the bracelet. This way, I can honor the integrity, quality and history of this piece while still creating something worth wearing everyday. With that said, the bench work was more involved, and laser solder was the only soldering we felt comfortable using for this project, so the listed price reflects that.
