Antique 9k Victorian Ruby & Diamond Brooch

Fall is fast approaching and in the jewelry world, that means Brooch season. Now, I know what you’re going to say… “Yuck! Brooches, blegh!” Hear me out - there are a million ways to wear a brooch, not just on your lapel. Use them as an extender. Add it to your hat. Roll up your cuffs and pin them in place. Add them onto your purse. Pin one side of your long skirt above the knee. I could go on and on! This one in particular is the quintessential Victorian brooch. It has a locket window in the back for a picture or a lock of hair but it seems to have never been used. (Thankfully! I don’t do mourning pieces 🤷🏻‍♀️)
